I have a veiled that i just found out is a girl and not a boy as i was told and im just wondering about how old are they before they lay eggs?

Females can begin laying eggs as early as 5-6 months old.
However, there are ways to prevent her from laying large clutches, or even laying at all (though this part is tricky)
You can reduce her basking spot to around 82 degrees, and feed her less which will prevent large clutches, which take a toll on the girls.
