Hi! I have a Young female veiled chameleon, and I am trying to figure out exactly how old she is. She is 6.5 inches from head to tail.

yes, you should get one ready. It should be a few more months until she gets gravid but i would have one ready in the meantime

it varies, my female laid first at 6 months

A great deal of it depends on your husbandry. Some become receptive and then gravid around 6 months, others much later. For our ladies we do try to limit their egg laying thru lower basking temps and smaller feedings. Right now, you don’t need to worry about that.
