How often do chameleons eat/shed?

Hey guys, I have a 3 month, almost going on 4 month panther chameleon. I haven't seen him shed since almost a month ago, is that normal? Also, It seems like he didn't eat much today, only 3 or 4 crickets. Some days he will eat more and some days he will eat less. This is my first chameleon, so I just want to make sure that what I described on here sounds normal to you guys. Thanks!

They will start "poofing" less and less as they get older. Monthly sounds about right till 5-6 months. Then they will start peeling in sections. Their appetite will go down towards a shed, and they sky rocket right after (mine will eat 4x the first couple of days after a full shed).
