How many clutches?

I was wondering if anyone knows how many clutches of eggs females panther chameleons lay a year on average? also does anyone know how long they can retain sperm?

I've had a female retain sperm for 6 months. The fewer clutches per year the better for their health. I've had some females that never lay a clutch and I've had them lay two in a year and once had one lay three clutches in one year.

Mine had 3 fertile clutches with 5 eggs molding over in the last. The 4th completely molded within 3 weeks. My female lays a clutch every 2-3 months fertile or unfertile. I might add that the first clutch laid was after she was 13 months old after mating. Since then she has laid once in Dec 2009, Jan 2010, March 2010, May 2010, July 2010. She appears very healthy and is not overfed.

Mine used to lay clutches every 2-3 months regardless if they were fertile or infertile as well. They normally only laid 3-4 clutches total though.

Reptoman how many clutches total has your female maxed out at?

Are you saying that your females layed 3-4 clutches and did not lay anymore after that?
