How Long?

I just candled several of my Panther eggs...and they have live developing embryos in them.....They have the "spot" and form of the babies in them.

How long from this point till hatching....on average that is??

How long have you had them cooking for? Did you induce diapause? What temps did you use?

Hmmmm since late may/early june...didnt bother recording date since i thought these would die....75% of clutch died. I had them in bathroom cabinet until end of sept...then moved to incubator set at 78deg. Bathroom temps were very cool since a/c was on all the time.

Are the eggs expanding at all? Or still the same size?

A month or so before my eggs started to hatch they became rather large and expanded a bit. Is that what you are seeing.

Yea, they have gotten a bit bigger.....

I always thought that it takes 8months for them to hatch

lol any day now Brye any day. Keep your pants on. I would place my money for about a month or month and a half. Anyone else thinking what im thinking?

Well, ok....but like I said, thought Panthers take 8 months to hatch out.

I have herd of clutches that took 5.5 months to hatch and all were healthy and clutches that took 14 months to hatch. My clutch took about 8 months to hatch. It really all depends on your temps and incubation methods.

Yea, just read a thread where they could take 5 months..........well, looks like I'll be havin 8 babies soon maybe.........should be stunners when they get older......Kern x Jadzia breeding.

Excuse me? I think you meen 7 babies. My birthday is coming up just around when they should be hatching out.
