I think you know he looks healthy and happy :)
Good work so far.......

He doesn't seem to have much of a spur though......or is that just the photo? Are you 100% its a male?

Do those look like spurs to you?

Or should I put down a laying bin just in case?
If so, how do I make one?

Looks good! I didn't go back up to see the pics, but in order to make a laying bin, you want to go to Home-Depot or Lowes, you can find play sand but make sure you rinse it so that way it is some-what cleaner, get a 5 gallon bucket and dump it in there, make sure you can make a small tunnel with your fist so that way it can make a secure tunnel when ready to lay eggs, but you don't need to worry about that right now since it is so young.

Also, I don't think you will be needing that laying bin. He is deffinately a male. c:

When do females need a laying bin? (if mine is a female)

You male does have a spur on the back of his feet, you might try getting another picture. they usually need them when they hit about 5-6 months when they are sexually matured.

When I glanced at your other thread, about him going to the bottom you posted a picture of his back feet, he does have spurs so he is a male.

Yeah definitely male.

My guy is the same size but he has just turned 3 months. He was tiny about 3/4weeks back. Within the same time his temperament has gone from cute to feisty! You are lucky!

Okay, so no need to really worry about the laying bin?
He goes down to the bottom of the cage frequently and just walks around.

No need to worry those spurs are visible. My last Yemen always used to walk around the bottom. Not sure why, he just liked to explore his viv I think.

Usually when they go to the bottom, it's either the basking area is too hot, what is the temp of the basking area? Or it could be that he is looking for food, my year and a half old male Veiled Chameleon likes to go down towards the bottom to look for food or just to roam is cage.

Yeah, ok - 100% male, he's due a bit of a growth spurt probably.......
