Attached are pictures of Farnsworth, he doesn't really care to be held, but I had no choice while cleaning his cage. As I was holding him I noticed a very small petrusion on his side. It was so small infact I had a hard time even taking a picture of it. Normally I don't put him near lamps, but I had him sitting on mine for a few minutes while I rinsed his cage out.
How serious is this? He seems to be eating and pooping normally. I can't say how long its been there because it really is almost impossible to notice and he rarely comes out I took some 40 pictures and only in 2 could you see this bump. I tried to get one from the top so you could compare each of his sides but none of them showed it.
A little history, Professor Hubert J Farnsworth, came from what I was told was a farm and wasn't in the best of shape when I got him. He was housed with other chameleons and was keeping his eyes closed for a few hours a day. Since, he's made a huge turn around. He never closes his eyes during the day, throughout it all hes maintained a good appetite. Currently hes back in his caging showing off his spots(I call them his stress spots) he only gets them when I first take him out, or put him back in. Oh and when he gets misted with the spray bottle(accidental of course), but I just didn't know if it was common for chameleons to have small inconstancies like this? One of the pictures makes it look a little bigger than it is due to the lighting.
