How do you........???

I have my cage all set-up and ready for our Kammer baby next week. My question is.......the drainage holes that I put in the bottom of the cage to allow the water to drain through to the drain pan beneath is gonna allow crickets to escape. How do you all keep this from happening ??? I have thought about putting a piece of metal screen below the pan in the bottom of the cage but on the up-side of the drainage pan. Is there a simpler way ???

I'm open to suggestions.........:D

i thought you already had a cham. hmp.

anyways i wouldve drilled smaller holes to begin with but at this point id just take some screen mesh and put that over the top of them.. cant get much easier really.

good luck!

Thanks.......Ben !!!

In my little feeble mind, I thought that might be the "simplest" thing to do, since I have already drilled 3/8" holes in the bottom for drainage.

I haven't gotten the Kammer baby yet........but it should arrive next Tuesday morning and I'm getting things in proper working order before the arrival. My crickets arrived today and they are now in their own little habitat I put together for them. They seem to be hungry little critters and should be full of the proper nutrition before next week.........which was my plan.
