i have tried everything and the only thing i got was Vincent licking a bit of the strawberry, but he doesnt eat fruit when its in my hand, on a vine, on a certain leaf(where i put worms and he always gets them on that leaf). How are you guys and girls getting your chams to eat their fruits and veggies?!?!?!

mold a piece to the basic shape of a feeder. put it on the tip of your finger and twitch your finger. :)

I dont have to twitch anymore. He realized stuff I put on the tip of my finger is good to eat. Sometimes he shoots his tongue at my fingers when im reaching in to get him out.

It takes a lot of patience and time spent to get them to trust you. I did it for 30-40 minutes some days. now, he nabs stuff within a few seconds of my sticking my finger up in there.

Ok sounds good, so cut it like a worm? btw what exactly do you give to your cham?

Me, I give crickets, phoenix worms, Hornworms, Dubia, pieces of Kale, collard greens, mustard greens and Orange.

I am going to try strawberry, grape and Bananna soon, too. I started doing orange since that is the fruit I was giving the Dubia.

I'd like to think the time I put into getting him to trust me helped when introducing new foods.

I just put mine in a feeding bowl! he goes down sits on the side munches what he wants then goes back up. so far broccoli and apple are the most favoured also grap and dandelions go down well. he hates strawberrys and i may try bannana tomorrow.

I do not know too much about what to feed and what not to feed but i definately know not to feed broccoli because it absorbs the calcium so fast the chams dont get to take it in.

i was unaware of that we were told when buying her that she enjoyed apple and broccoli i never thought to check! will put a stop to that as of today thanks..
