How do I know?

Okay, so I have 1.2 Dubia Roaches just to start up a colony. I just gave them some Romaine Lettuce a few days ago, but now one of the females looks giant compared to the male and the other female. Does this mean that she is gravid? Or do they have to show the ootheca in order to know if she is gravid or just fat?

shes probably gravid if she is much bigger, from what ive seen they plump up a lot. youll see the ootheca when shes giving birth or when shes done. its pretty weird lookin!
