i have a female and male veiled chamileon that i keep together in the one enclosure which seems to suit them fine, they are both just over 1 year old and was wondering how i caould possibly tell if they are breeding, they have been together for 3 weeks now?
thanx

Is the female's background color almost black? Does she hiss and gape, rock back and forth, etc. when the male goes near her?

Do you have a place for her to dig in the cage so she can show you that she's ready to lay eggs? It takes about 30 days from the mating to the egglaying...but not always because it depends where she was in her cycle when she mated.

IMHO they should only be together to mate unless you want to end up with health issues with one or both of them.
