Was wondering how long are you able to keep 2 baby chameleons in a full terrarium? Attached are the sizes. I believe they are about 3 weeks old. Most shops do not know much about their stock.
A very welcome to our forum! I will share some info with you and hope it helps!
Chameleons as a rule are solitary creatures! On occasion you will find a couple that tolerate each other fine! But this is the exception to the rule and it is not a game you want to play! In general, one or both ends up getting hurt! Battle wounds often include missing a foot, or part of a tail! Sometimes they will bite each other in the face and take out a eye! I grew up with wild chameleons in nature and I often saw them fighting when they wonder upon each other!
As for your cage, it is too bare! You need more leaves as hiding places! Also, chameleons drink water off leaves! That is the only way they usualy will drink. So, you need more leaves in there, live plants are prefered! Also, please remove the substrate in the bottom of the cage! They can accidentally ingest it, get a intestinal blockage and die! Please look at the care sheets here on the forums for your specific chameleon!
Here is how you get to them: click on "menue", then go to the "Recourses" tab and open it. Now, click on "Caresheets". Next click on "Veiled Chameleons". Read it all, apply what you learned and please ask if you have more questions!
P.s. sorry for the bad intro you had to chameleons as guided by the petstore! Petstores are the cause of so many chameleons having a "Nightmare on Elm street!"
