No they will fight. It is however possible to do this if you had a very large free range with multiple basking spots. It is not reccomended though especially if you have really aggressive males.

i havent done it yet guys im just getting opinions thats all : ) i know males can be very terotorial animals i heard it isnt even a good idea to house a female with a male unless you want them to breed but i have seen people house 3 to 4 males together so just a personal question..

I wouldnt do it either only if they grew up together...

It can be done, but often even if they grow up together they will fight. Only time I kept two male Veiled together from babies I thought one was female when I got them (only 6 weeks). It doesn't work. If one is smaller it will get chased all over, and be under constant stress - it can't be good for the bigger male to be unable to drive off the 'threat' either. You'd needs loads of room and leaves so there was little chance of seeing each other from favourite spots. Separate basking sites too.........even then you trust to luck what 'personality' of cham you get.
Cham stress can be invisible to humans, even the most experienced keepers, so its probably a bad idea in any case.....
Get 2 Vivs, that's what I did :)

if you want one or more dead chams go right ahead...only way you could pull it off is by having a huge free range like said before, with multiple basking sites..still they WILL fight eventually (its like riding a motorcyle, you WILL go down eventually)..now in a cage, if they fight, where does the loser run to???no where, he gets chased and beaten until he dies from injury or stress.

i have two 7 month old males together since birth... so far they like hangin with each other no problems yet. :)

they will chill untill one wants to claim power over the other..its bound to happen eventually..

i had a huge outside porch that was turned into a huge freerange(with a couch in it so you could chill and watch them walk around) but it contained three males and 7 female jacksons..they all seemed to get along pretty well..i did see a joust once tho..ended without any biting or excessive aggresion..

You know you just contradicted yourself right? or did you just mean that Jacksons tend to be easier to keep together?

no..just that yes you can keep them together if you have quite literally a garage sized freerange, however..it will never keep them from fighting..even jacksons witch are not near as aggressive will STILL fight..it sucks but its just how it is..(i ended up ditching the whole thing, because i was still afraid of them fighting to the point of stressing eachother out soo much it would affect health)

on the other hand, truthfully, i would never keep panthers (two males) or veileds (two males) in the same area where they can interact..they are just really aggresive.

i wont lie, yes i tried years back in that same setup..chill and watch them for like 10 minutes..they start running towards eachother...

no matter what i think its better not too..i did this maybe 10 years ago..now i free range two females to one male..

That's cleared that one up then - totally agree :)

ya..i wish that it did work, but i cant lie and say ohh yeah they where totally fine..lol..it was a fun try , and then i ended up splitting the females over the males in seperate rooms for the free ranges..it was actually easier to have smaller setups than the one walk in set up..

but on the other hand it sure was fun to have a couch and a small tv inside the freerange set up..i could sint with friends and have a beer while there are chams all over the place!:D

i went to the san diego expo this year and i went to the LLL reptile table they had 2 panthers togther i think they thought they would get along but i caught one of them trying to chew his friends arm off and the other panther screaming in pain i told the guys that worked there and they changed them really quick but put him with another cham i just wanted to hear eveyones thoughts thx and to LLL keep a close watch on all your reptiles...poor guy had a bad injurie from that hope hes doing alright.

I have two chams and a monitor in my bedroom, they can't see each other though, unless I get them out the wardrariums - we drink in there on occasion........it'll do nicely :D
