Hornworm food

Hey guys. Need help figuring out what to feed the hornworms once all their mulberry chow is used up. I don't have access to mulberry leaves.

What else would be safe to feed them then ultimately to my panther and veiled?

Shredded carrots, bell peppers. They won't live off it, but it will hold them over for a while.

Someone told me mashed potatoes!

try it, horns eat tomatoe plants and they're in the same family as potatoes!

additionally, some bran, yeast and ground up vitamins will do.

the items above are what goes into the great lakes horn chow.

^ Have you found any actual posts of people using those things? The potatoes and the bran/yeast(what kinda yeast?)/vitamins(what kinda vitamins?) stuff?

Here's an incomplete and untested list I've collected so far:

Mulberry leaves (not very practical though)
silk worm chow
Tomato plants (but makes them toxic to be ingested by animals)
actual tomatoes
celery
collared greens (and perhaps mustard greens?)
grape vine leaves
red bell peppers
dandelion leaves (?)
romaine (?)
....each other
