Hornworm eggs question!

I am going to order some hornworm eggs from Greatlakeshormworms. I know that they only raise teal hornworms on the tan food they supply. I was wondering if i can raise the teal hormworm eggs on the mulberry chow from Mulberry farms like you can with the traditional green hornworms (because i already have this food and dont really want to buy the tan food if i dont have to).

The color green vs teal is from the food. I haven't had great luck w feeding them silk worm chow, but I know many people do.
