Hey guys :) so Im building a cage and im getting plants. I got a schefflera abricola and im thinking in hibiscus because ive seen it in a few photos and the schefflera is a little small for the cage. Is there a specific type or color? There are a lot here that are red, but i dont know if it makes a difference.
Ill post photos of the cage done in the weekend :D
Thanks!

I don't think flower color should matter, especially perhaps to a Jackson's. I used to have hot pink flowers in with mine lol. Go for the color you like the most, whether it's red, pink, white, orange, yellow....

I've heard some chams really don't like the color red but all mine are fine with it and have seen others here with red too

Yea same here, but mine have never been bothered by the flowers on anything. I think they identify them pretty quickly as a non-threat. And I think perhaps with Jackson's, who don't use color as much in their displays with each other, may not immediately associate red with an opposing male or something, like a Panther might. Just a theory, but it seems possible.

Thanks guys :) hahaha we'll have to test the color thing out somehow! I like the idea of bright pink, although my cham is pretty mellow. It just seems cool to add color to the cage cause then it would only be green, including the cham :p

I've been trying to find stuff to add color too, got te wife at the store currently looking for plants for my Jackson's
