Hi,

From Cape Town, South Africa. Wanting to keep Veiled or Panther cham.

Hoping to find some fellow South African's on here, so I can get advice on keeping them in our climate.

My main concern is the enclosure during winter as it gets very cold in my apartment. I understand that a temp drop at night is needed. Temps at the moment are around 15 to 20 degress celcius and drop to 10 at night.

I would like to use a custom glass vivarium with mesh ventilation at the bottom and top. Would use a UVB bulb and a timed misting system for humity.

During summer he could be kept in a full mesh cage on the balcony. Temps during Feb, March get well past 30 degrees celcius.

Is it possible to keep in this way?

Also I'm attaching my blog for general care. You will need these supplements, lighting and so forth even in Africa.
