so I'm gonna order silkworms for the first time. I am going to buy 250 and they only come with a petri dish of food for a day. So I was wondering do I keep them in the fridge like other worms? or just on a shelf with the mulberry food?
Hi, to hatch them out you want to have high 70's to mid 80's temps. Once hatch room temps will be fine. I would suggest only putting small pieces of food in with them and clearing out the poo daily.
74-80* ambients temps will do best for the worms. The screen is a great deal. Still clean the feces up daily, only feed enough for a couple days at most (Daily is recommended) as the food will either A. Dry out or B. Mold.
