Help!

can she eat spiders? or earthworms?

I believe there is a lot of protein in earthworms. If they're are small enough and the ground has not been treated with pesticides I don't see why not. They may just keep her going till you can get her some bugs. A general guide is the feeder should be no bigger than the space between her eyes so you may have to cut them up. I would worry about spiders though. Would you know if a spider is poisonous? Hopefully someone more knowledgable than me will come in and help.

she's dead. ;( and now i'm in tears, can't help it and i feel really guilty and bad, but at least i know that she's in a better place now. I'm NEVER buying a reptile again. i guess this is a life lesson. thanks for every one who tried to help and actually helped. so i'm out of this site, never coming back. ;(

No no no don't give up. My advice would be to do extensive research on chameleons because they are truly awesome animals. I'm sorry about your little girl:/ do some research make sure you are able to get and keep a decent variety of gutloaded insects and have a proper setup for a chameleon. They're are not too hard to keep but do take time money and lots of research.

I'm so sorry to hear that :( they are fragile little creatures that are so easy to fall in love with. Don't give up, just learn from mistakes and try again in the future when you're in a better position to care for one.

I'm so sorry Hashem. As Eliza said you rescued a poorly Cham who was probably not going to make it anyway. It would be good if you stayed with us and learned about chams and how to look after them and when you are in a position to provide for one you may feel different. At least she died with someone who cared and not in the pitiful state you found her. Hope to see you on here soon.

i'm not sure of its species, sex nor age (but i'm guessing a female veiled cham for about 3-5 months) and it has been with me for about a week.
i handle my cham about 3 times a week.
i fed it 2 moths and a small fruit fly this first week
i still don't have any supplements
i use dripping and misting(misting twice a day), and i saw her drink twice
she has the brown, white , and some green shades all over.
History : i got her from a pet store that had her in a small plastic container with pebbles on the bottom and a ship decoration only. and i dont know what they feed her.
cage is glass, (it's an Aquarium with 20cm width, 16cm height and 12cm length).
as for lighting i have UV and normal light, (don't know the brand)
mostly room temp and after misting = humidity (don't have a thermometer)
live plants (succulents, and branches.with soil, leaves and pebbles on the bottom)
it's located in my bedroom where no one enters so its usually quite and its on the table in front of the window)
in Amman Jordan.
problem is her tongue and she sleeps most of the day and all night .

Wait, you only had her for a week? I didn't realise that when I made my first comment. Please accept my apologies, there's no way she got this bad within a week! You were sold a sick chameleon and it's not your fault! Please don't give up!
