So yesterday morning I went in my reptile room and turned on my critters lights. My veild cham is always on his same branch when I turn his lights on. Went out to get crickets, came back and he had escaped. Ive looked EVERYWHERE. I have no idea where he could be at now. He's a little over a year. Any suggestions on getting my lil guy back? right now I've got a cricket cage right by his full of crickets. I'm not sure of what else to do....

Keep his cage open, make sure it's possible to get into the cage from the floor (it's one thing to drop to the carpet from the cage...it's a whole different thing to have to get from the carpet to the cage). If there is a free standing plant in the cage, maybe take that out and put it on the floor?

Put some crickets in a "cricket cup" (something they can't get out of but can be eaten from) near the door of the cage.

I hope you find him!!

I have has an escape artist before. Start at the top of the room and work your way down. look inside curtains, and anything else he can wedge into. Go in with a flashlight tonight as the sort of glow when the light hits them. he is inside so you will find him, if he were outside chances are not as good, just keep the door to the room shut. let us know where you find him.

Thanks guys for the advice. I really really appreciate it. I set all that up yesterday. (the plant in the middle of the room and the cricket cup) but still no sign. :( I'm starting to think he escaped outside cause i'm tellin you, I looked EVERYWHERE. and hes not that big at all. When should I draw the line?? I mean I could go forever if I had to but reality says different.
