Help?

So just purchased a veiled chameleon last night, and I need some help determining the gender. I had thought it was a male, but now that I look it looks more like a female. I was hoping for a male only because this is my first chameleon and im not sure about all the care and upkeep of the girl having babies. I asked the guy about the gender and he said they didn't sex them. Ive fallen in love with her already, I'm just scared/don't have room for babies. Please help!

You maybe right. By the looks of your pic posted, I do not see any metatarsal spurs on the back feet, but a closer picture of the back of the foot would be ideal.

Not a great picture to tell from but I would say female also.

Unless you introduce her to a male, you won't have babies. But she will lay eggs. They will not be fertilized but she will need a lay bin when the time comes. Start doing the research now on what needs to be done for a female. I have never had one so I would be of no help in that.

Looks like a female. Here is a pic of a male's back feet. The male has spurs (like pointy heels). The female does not.

Thank you! I guess thats what was confusing me about the babies. I don't have a problem getting her prepared and ready to have the eggs.

I would say in between 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 month old judge by her looks from ur pics,she is still very young without any color marks on her body according to ur pic.she is a beautiful female veiled for sure.
