Should my veiled look like this? I was on vacation and when I got back he was on the ground. I cleaned things up and made sure he ate and drank. Now he's up top again but his colors have me a little worried

I don't think there is anything that looks wrong with him. His colors look dull, but I don't think that is anything to worry about . You said you found him on the floor of the cage? Maybe he fell? Was there a way for him to get back up to the top on his own?

Well like I said maybe he had just fallen when you found him. Who took care of him while you were gone? Ask how long he was that color.
