I run a humidifier with pvc tubing facing down into the cage to help with humidity at night. I have live plants inside the screen cage and the pvc piping facing straight down over the plants the problem I'm having is the paper towels I have placed under the plants and enclosure are soaked. Should I use something different then paper towels for inside the enclosure

Make a drainage system for your cage (preferably not inside the cage, but under or outside of it)

No misting system.i mist in the morning, afternoon and evening. I'm in texas now so I run a humidifier directly into the cage to try and bring the humidity up,I believe that is what is causing the paper towels to be soaked because the water that forms from the humidity goes into the plants

It condensates at any rate. Drainage will help that. There are several good ways to accomplish that depending on the construction of your enclosure and your preferences. You can find lots of good ideas in the first thread in this forum (in the green shaded area at the top).

Are you running the humidifier during the day? Veileds only need between 30-50% during the day. How long is each misting session? Also, take out all fake plants in your veiled cage(s) ASAP! They can only have live plants (rocks too big for your chameleon to eat covering the soil), branches, and live and fake vines (just no fake vines with leaves on them). Both cages need more branches and vines (with preferably more plants, too), as well. I’d also take out and replace the Exo Terra vines with another brand, as they can cause health issues.
