So I just bought a small Ficus benjamina. Wanted to know how to set it up. I already rinsed it and applied new organic non pesticide soil (patio plus). Never kept trees before so dont know much about it. Can i trim the branches to make it smaller or does that cause problems for the tree? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Go ahead and trim the branches but be very careful not to use the tree right away in the enclosure because the sap from thebranchesbreaking irritates there eyes and skin, also make sure you wash the branches very good because there might still be pesticides, otherwise you are set from what it looks like;)

Should I use soap to wash out the leaves? Also should I just wait untill the sap dries out?

Yeah I used soap and scrubbed it a good one, be gentle yet assertive lol and I would recommend it, maybe just set it in your garage or porch, and make sure you rinse it super well, can't stress that enough

ok so I used the soft side of a sponge... it kind of lost some leaves but it should be good now..just gotta let it dry a little.

Also how often should a baby cham be eating? mine has been eating 1 dubia nymph everyday except for yesterday when it ate two. Am I over feeding it?

Well, it depends what kind of baby and how old. Is it a panther or a veiled or a jackson or...

its a veiled. about 1-2 months. I posted about it a few days ago but I dont think i ever asked how often I should be feeding it.

can try small crickets and should let the baby geat as much as it can. they wont over eat if they know there is more food there or coming. just dont leave the crickets in there over night if u can help it. when he gets older leaving a few in there over night doesnt seem to matter.
but the crickets can attack the lil guy if u let the crickets run around

when mine was a baby it was eating 20-30 small crickerts a day till about 5months then he desided they were too small for him and would only eat the large ones. skiped right over the med ones.

Yeah my Female Veiled(3-4 months old) doesn't want anything to do with eating the leaves yet, but she is very interested in Kale and eats it about 3-4 times a week, in little portions. Also if you were curious about treats, waxworms are great. Keep him to about 1-2 a week or some people prefer about 2 worms a month! They are very fatty so you do not want to give them to often, but if you guy seems to be active you can add one or two more a week if you really want to, just do not overdue it or he will be a chubby bunny as my girlfriend puts it lol
