So i couldn't help it. Went to the pet store to grab some crickets and I've been seeing a jackson cham there in a tiny glass enclosure and couldn't help feeling bad for him. So today when I was there he looked BAD, very bad. Sleeping at 2pm and his lights weren't on. So i asked the pet store girl why the lights at least weren't turned on and she said cause he had burned himself on them. I felt so bad. I purchased him at half price cause of his condition. Couldn't help it. Could not leave him there to die. So i Set him up NICE with a beautiful cage. Only had him for about 5 hours now....but his grips not good and while i set the cage up he was on my boyfriends arm and he fell asleep. He is still sleeping. Should we just put him away and check on him throughout the night? I didn't put any lights on him and i'm pretty much leaving him alone now that the enclosure is set. But what if he gets bad tonight, he already fell once down off the trees...? The poor guy wouldn't have made it the night at the store...P
lease don't think i'm crazy or something and judge me...i have a big heart. I'm bringing him to the vet on monday! but between now and then... what to do if he starts going down hill...looks dehydrated and what to do with the burns?
