help with gular edema

I took in a relatively sick panther chameleon a few months ago. When I first got him, I was afraid he was getting MBD. He was also undernourished and looked dehydrated. He is missing some of his toenails, which makes it very hard for him to climb on the screen. He is still a juvenile and about 4in from snout to vent.

Cage : 1 X 1.5 X 2 Screen
Water : sprayed down about 3 times daily
Lighting : reptisun 5.0 and 75w heat bulb...both about 5in from basking spots
Branches : fake vines with fake foliage
Substrate: grass mat
Temperature 86basking to 80 during the day and 76-73 at night
Supplements: Herptivite , Rep Cal D3 and rep cal
Food: fluckers gutloaded crickets and occasionally phoenix worms

When I first got him I used the repcal d3 a lot, because I was worried about mbd. Since I saw his neck a week age, I stopped supplementation for about 4 days. I started to worry about mbd again, so I went to twice a week with just rep cal. Some days the swelling of the neck is worse than others. He has no flem or bubbles in his mouth.

He occasionally has a very small amount of orange in his urate. I make sure he drinks at atleast 2 of the waterings.

His right eye stays closed some of the time during the day (always full turret). Ive used terramycin a few times to help his eye. As soon as I take him out he opens his eye if it was closed.

I used panacur as a dewormer about 4 weeks ago.

Ill post up pictures soon. Sorry for the long windedness.
Any suggestions to help out??

Stop with the supplements and try to increase hydration. Gutload crickets with lots of water and leafy foods that contain water. The idea is to try and flush the supplements out.

here are a couple of pics.

Today he ate 4 crickets early in the morning and then decided to close both of his eyes for a while. He hasnt drank yet today.

For some reason its been kinda hard for me to keep the humidity up, even though I have clear plastic on the back and both sides of the cage. It stays at around 45 or so and spikes a bit when I spray 3 times a day. I will upgrade the cage soon, so that I can put the umbrella plant that I bought in it.
