hi im new to chameleons and thinking about getting one but dont really have a clue as to how to set up the cage ive done some research on the web and here is what i plan to get all is from diy cages . cage sc-2 30h 16w 16d. lh-2 light 4h 16w 6d. another thing this light doesnt come with bulbs what do i need and since it has spots for two diffrent bulbs can i use one for the heat and the other for a uvb light. and for the mister do i need one or can i use a water dripper. any and all info will be greatly appriciated thanks

hello and welcome to the forum, glad to have you
depending on what type of chams oyu are plannig to get and how old will determine alot of what you want to know.
but some basics
you will want 2 lights a uvb ( linear tube style perferd by most ) 5.0
and a basking light, typically a dome fixture with appropriate watttage bulb.
a 16x16x30 will work for younger veileds or panthers but you will want a larger cage for an adult 24x24x48 suggested min.
as for misting you can hand mist a few times a day and use a dripper if you like, or you can look into a automatic misting system.
