HELP....Where can I find Ponazuril

Our 15 month old cham elliott has coccidia....I am so worried. I have been told by the vet this med works miracles but we are having no luck finding it. The vet will call in the RX once we find where to get it....ANY HELP?

Your vet will need to order it from a compound pharmacy. I believe my vet gets it from one in AZ.

This might not tell you where to buy it but it gives you some get info. I'll keep checking on where to buy.

It was initially released for horses-- so a large animal vet might have it?

I have seen it for sale at feed stores here. Try that.

I just went to beautiful dragons website. They care a lot of medicines for reptiles and ship them to people but that isn't one they carry. But it is a good resource for a lot of meds.

Yeah I'm not sure why you have to find it. Your vet should do that since they have to prescribe it anyway.

Its not something thats easily found. From what Im getting you have to have a copound pharmacy make it.

Contact best friends animal hospital in gaithersburg MD.

THey have it.. I used it to treat my panther when he had coccidia.


Your vet can call that vet and send the prescription.. and best friends can mail you the meds.

Check these guys out, I am pretty sure they can take care of it for you. http://www.diamondbackdrugs.com/ I believe (could be wrong) that most places in the country get it from Diamondback Drugs. Like other have said a Vet will have to call it in for you
