Even a picture that was taken in the last week would work.
Call around, if there really is no vet in your area that deals with chameleons specifically, one that deals with reptiles would be better than nothing (or even one that works with birds), but do let the vet know about this board and the fact that there are keepers here who've had chameleons for upwards of 20 years (not me, I got my first chameleon as a 50th birthday present).
They know their stuff. Advice given by the moderators and extremely experienced keepers like Kinyongia, Olympia and hoj (and others)is going to be good advice not just "stuff you read on the internet".
