Okay so i have a dracaena in my enclosure at the moment and it is dying :(
- i have it in a about almost 2 foot bucket of soil
- i think i may have over watered a bit, so right now I'm not going to give it any more water until the top inch is dry
- is it too tall?
- only one side is yellow (UVB one)

I can't seem to figure out my problem, do you think that the side on the UVB bulb is too close and i should trim it or too much water?

by the way don't crit my cage, it isn't done :p

Thanks!

You won't need a plant light for your Dracaena; in the plant section of every Home Depot that I've been to has had Dracaena under UVB lights and they were fine. Your problem is probably overwatering. What you could do is drill holes probably about an inch from the bottom bucket all the way around probably an inch apart from one another. Then place fine mesh screen over the holes, and adhere the screen to the bucket using silicone or caulking glue, to allow the water to drain out and keep the soil in; if you feel that too much water is draining out simply fill some of the holes back up with silicone or caulking. Then take a large plastic tray, the thing that goes under a garden/plant pot to hold water, and place your bucket into it to catch the water. Now you can keep spraying your cage as you usually do without worrying about killing your Dracaena. Hope this helps. BTW your cage looks good:). Do you have anything in it yet?
