i was wondering if i should take my female to the vet...
i just got her from a reptile show she laid eggs not too long before i got her...
and now her tummy is black and around her eyes... not sunken in though.
she is not being too active today... her mate is in a seperate cage and appears to be fine... but i am worried about her what should i do she has not pooped in 3 days either.

she is not interested in her mate right now but he wants to be close to her... (they are in seperate cages)

she is a veiled chameleon she is about three years old they said.
she laid 19 eggs like 7 days ago
her temp is 80-83 and humidity is up.

What chameleon is she?
Is she black really only on her tummy or is she black all over?
A photo would be great...

Adult chameleons poo only once a week or so (depends on how often they eat)...

is she a veiled chameleon.... when we got her she was dark purple...
its just her tummy and around her eyes that are black her body is green.

she ate some krickets like 2 days ago but has not eaten since then either

The black color isn't normal. However, when a cham gets a bruise the skin will turn very dark brown or black on the injured area. But you said she also has black around her eyes. That isn't normal either. She may have retained an egg or is unable to lay it. I'm surprised she was sold so soon after laying. Very stressful for her. I think you should take her to an EXPERIENCED herp vet to see if she still has any unlaid eggs. The vet may be able to feel an egg or they may show up an an xray or ultrasound.

Also, put a visual barrier between the 2 chams. Even seeing the male will stress her and if she's sick or still stressed from the move to a new home the last thing she wants is a male around.

I would get her to the vets. If she laid eggs only 7 days ago, maybe she has retained some?

Is she sitting low in the cage? Does she keep her eyes open or shut? Is she drinking?

In the meantime, can you post a picture please?
