I need some practical advice on how to set my new Reptibreeze up from people who have worked with this enclosure.
I have a new male veiled that I just put in his new enclosure, a 24" x 24" X 48" Reptitreeze.
I'm very new to chameleons--I've only had my first chameleon just over three weeks. This male is my second.
Here's a picture of the cage so far:

How do you put lights/heat over a Reptibreeze? It seems too flimsy to put them directly on top, plus I'm really worried about him hanging off the screen and getting burned. I've put the lights on top of the screen cover that had been covering the aquarium which was his temporary home until the Reptibreeze arrived, so they are not touching the Reptibreeze screen. I have a Reptisun 5.0 and a 60w basking light in the double fixture. You can't see it but I have a 75w infrared heat lamp beside it, basically over where the chameleon is hanging from.
Yes, I know the lights are too far away from the basking area which is too open. I'll be working on getting some furnishings/plants higher under the light, but it will have to do for the weekend.
How do you hang a dripper? Do you just put it on top and let if drip through the screen?
What about the wires for the thermometer and hygrometer? Where do you put them?
I've seen some pictures of screen enclosures that have branches across the width. Do people screw them in right through the screen?
As you can see in the picture, he's not very happy, just hanging on the top in the corner. He's a pretty bold fellow normally. The day after I bought him, I put him on a big hibiscus bush in the window and he was all over it.
I've not had much luck finding safe plants in my area but I'll keep looking.
Thanks for your suggestions.
