hi i am hoping to get a vailed chameleon soon! :) i have done the resurch but dont no what size cage to choose. i am thini=king of buying of the 888 reptiles site and have narrowed the flexarium sizes down to these..72x42x72 or a 72x42x122. this would be for the vailed chameleons whole life.

i am aiming for this kind of setup, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usuqvzIXFJs (sorry if the link doent work but copy and paste it into youtube and have a look) also give me general info on looking after them so i have a good start. also has anyone bourght of of 888 reptiles before? if so are they relable? and give me some good uk websites that are cheep and will sell everything.

cheers

aim a little higher

forget what ever info you retained from that well intentioned video, and reeducate yourself

http://raisingkittytheveiledchameleon.blogspot.com/

aim for that, and ask any other questions you may have.

the 72, is even a about 2x bigger than most seasoned keepers use.

the bigger the better if you can manage the problems that come with a larger cage such as feeding, providing humidity and most of all temp.

its just harder to tune those things with such a large cage.

okay that setup(and all of expert villages reptile care) is a little off. Go to the raisinkitty site and read up on some google care sheets...thos cages ar planty big for an adult....you will want this cage basicly till he is around 5 months old....http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog...een/-/16-x-16-x-30-inch-aluminum-screen-cage/

read up before you get one...plus that environment on expertvillage is horrible...there are litterly more things done wrong there then done right....try google images for nice cam cage ideas...works well.

Why dont you make a custom enclosure to suite your space and needs

cheers for all info, i have read up on google and got some good info. so from what is said i could go with the 72x42x72cm cage, but would with be big enought for it when it is adult?

also i take it messy is good, them more stuff cramed in the better right
cheers
