help in light fixture

hey guys!!
I'm already buying all I need for my future panther! and I have a few questions for you guys that know better than me.

I bought a 24" flourecent fixture in walmart and it is 75 watts.
I just want the fixture because I have already the reptisun 5.0.
do you guys think that would work?

a 24'' fixture that is 75W?? that is also a T5 or T8, reptiSUN is T5 right? either way, that sounds very high wattage for a 24" tube that size. i would check and make sure it fits, if it does, then yes that will work fine

Any fixture that takes a t8 tube (assuming you are using a t8 reptisun) will be fine. Fixtures with a reflector are a bit better than those without.

T12's will fit T8's as well, but the ballast flickers on instead of just going on. some say this could potentionaly stress the chameleon out, i say no. yes, as the poster above said, a reflector would work alittle bit better, but you could always just tape aluminum foil *shinny side out* to the base of the fixture
