help identifying this little one please

Hi. Would like to know the species and approximate age of this little one. He's about 3 inches excluding tail.

Can you try to get a photo where the chameleon is centered and in focus, and preferably pictured from the side? The photo you uploaded isn't clear enough to make a definitive identification.

Much better, thanks! Based on the shape of the casque and cranial crests, the gular and dorsal crests, and the gular grooves, it looks like you have a very healthy young adult Elliot's Chameleon (Trioceros ellioti).

What an interesting looking little cham. way to stray from the usual suspects. again, awesome looking little creature.
