I have mesh / screen vivarium for my chameleon and I have a large ceramic reflector clamp lamp with a 150w bulb in it sitting on top however I can't seem to get the temperature higher than 25degrees Celsius. I think I really need to get it up to about 28 if possible.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

what are you measuring your temp with? is it correct?

how far away are you measuring?

i use a 100w bulb and have various basking spots to give a temp range between 25c-33c

Hi, I have a Exo Terra digital thermometer and the sensor is in one of the top corners. I think because its a screen viv all the heat is being lost out the sides. Today I got a 60w ceramic heat lamp as well and I have built a lid to cover the lamps and keep the heat in and the temp has now gone up to 28.3c at the top so think I am just about there now! :)
