How old are they? If they are only a couple of days old, it's not uncommon for them not to eat until the 3rd day or so.

70 is OK for ambient, but you should have a basking of 78-80 F or so.

I've also noticed, this is just from what I've seen with my chameleon hatchlings. They more readily eat bugs that are ON things like the screen, leaves, vines etc. But hardly touch bugs just sitting on the bottom of the starter tubs.

And you haven't seen any poops yet?

Just because you don't see them eat doesn't mean they aren't. I would get some type of basking light (even if you just have it on for short periods throughout the day).

And you are doing both Fruit flies and crickets? They can eat the Hydei right away. Mine ignored the Melanogaster form because they are so small. Same for Pinhead crickets. I went right to 1/8"

no havent seen any poop. ill get some bigger crickets tomorrow and see if they will take those i guess. i was thinking of changing the cage around a little so they can see bugs more easily
