Help And Opinions Please (Custom Enclosure Pics) 1st Time

Update - Added dripper system pic

Hi im new to the forum and i would like some advice, opinions and suggestions on the design of a Chameleon cage, i made a few designs on paint on the pc lol and i just want you guys to have a look and add your opinions and suggestions.

I haven't kept Chams before but ive bin reading up on them and want the cage right and dun b4 i put one in, im after a male Veiled.

Questions
1. Should i add jungle background to the wooden sides so it looks bigger to the Cham and more forest like?
2. Were should i have the vent holes higher, lower n how many ?
3. Should i use perspex or glass ? (see door 3) i would like glass but im not sure about the reflection issue but if the Chams far from the branches i dont think it would matter.

Great job on doing research first and great design. It is always interesting for me to see custom enclosures. As for the door, I like option 1 or 3. Since 3 sides are going to be wood it may be best to have an all screen door. However, I think option 3 will most likely provide you with the needed ventilation.

since your in the uk you can go with solid sides on your enclosure. But I think i would go with the screen door. Or you could use the same material sandrachameleon uses on her cage sides. She uses a peg board type of product. Then u could use the plexi on the front for better viewing. and the sides woul give u all the ventilation u need. Look up her designs on a search.

Cool thanx guys, yh ive bin reading up on em 4 a good while so i can keep one properly and make sure everything is right for it, the reason i might go for wood is because im in the UK it will keep the heat in on some cold nights plus with the combo design the air flow will be great with screen at the bottom, just needed sum advice from people who know what they r doing. il post some pics wen its done if u guys wanna c it.
