My name is Michael Drake, i have kept chameleons on and off for about 5-6 years and have decided to get back into meleon keepin. I am having such a hard debate right now on keeping either Carpets or Jacksons. I have kept Jacksons in the past and they are one of my favorites, but eveyone seems to be saying Carpets are more people meleons and yeah i like to hold mine on occassions but very seldom. I have a 4'x3'x4' screen cage and it has Ficus, Palms, hibiscus, and some sterile grapevine from my vinyard. it is equipted with a 75w neodyum flood bulb on one end and two 48" single bulb striplights with 5.0 UVB bulbs in em.

I just cant make up my mind on which ones to go with....

Actually i decided to go with Carpets as the jackson trio i went to look at tonight that i was gonna buy well the male climbed on my hand and so did the females but next thing i know they decided to all 3 bite the mortal hello outta me and i wasnt petting them or nothing just letting htem climb on my arms and hands. Carpets seem to be the most personable species other than the pygmies which i was also considering.

I swear i have never had such tough decisions in my life.............

Ok i have decided to go with a 1.3 Pygmy Chameleon Colony as my new chameleons. Finally a tough decision made simple. Now just gotta locate me some lol.
