Hello Everyone,
This is going to be my into post for this forum.
Guess the best way to start is to give a sort of short history for myself.

I've always had pets of different sorts, Always wanted to be able to have a few cameleons
ever since I was a child, but was always told at the pet store level
as to their short life span and inability to be handled.
Never the less, I grew to learn otherwise and got my first cam back in ...
oh the late 90's (pair of pigmy's) from one of the trade shows
Moved on to a pair of veileds in 2002 quickly followed by (logan)
the pick of the clutch from kamerflage's casanova (Sambava).
decided to breed and have the group start paying some rent.
(all those insects can start to add up ya know... )

Now I've built up to about 20 panthers and a few high yellow veileds.
not including 50 veileds from the last clutch hatched
or the dozen panthers 2 month olds (Sambava) from logan x nova (casanova [m] x loki [f]) lines.

I hope to become a active member of the larger community here
as I can bring my experiences from my other interests into the discussion.
:)

I was wondering as I did a quick search and must have missed any mention
of who is behind this forum.
Can someone please give me a bit of a info regarding it's history please?
I can see some of the names from breeders that I've already met before...

Thanks*

Welcome aboard. That makes at least 4 of us in San Diego now. Although I've been keeping and breeding chameleons for a long time, I'm pretty new to this forum so I'll let someone else answer the history questions :)

Welcome to the party!!! Brad would be the man behind the forum... You will see him pop in from time to time, his icon can be seen on most of the polls, such as your fave local, number of chams; ect... As far as I know he is the brain.

Thanks.
Yeah, San Diego seems to be a great place for these guys
Tis, good to know that there's a few of us around here
Perhaps we can all meet up over at the Del Mar show a few months from now
Although, I'll be driving up to the NARBC Anaheim show Sept 8th.

I'm looking to get a few nice Nosey Be's

Yeah, I lost my first 4 clutches of eggs before I got it right.
I still don't know exactly what my problem was
but it's seemingly fixed now and I feel up to my elbows with eggs,
fruit flies, week old crickets and little bug eyed faces saying " feed me seymore".
;)

I'm really interested in going to Anaheim as well but....the 67 in my username is not my age, but my car's which makes the drive a bit too far for me. If you're just going up for a day, any chance I might be able to catch a ride with you? *dangles gas money* I'll be at Del Mar though.

Welcome and please do share your pictures and experiences. I'm fairly new to this group too. Should have joined long ago. You do live in a nice location for reptiles......We need to see some baby pictures :)

See ya at the show then! It would be cool to get all the Cham keepers togeather for a dinner, drinks or something. I am going to be picking out a Nosy from the Kammers that I bought a few months back... To hot to ship so driving down seemed like a good idea. :p

Yeah, I've replied in another thread about carpooling
it makes sense to do that...

yes I've got lots of baby picts that I can upload
Adults picts too...
but I'm kinda waiting for the webpage/site to serve as host
it's all on it's way.. I really need to sit down and get all that DONE.

Thirdly,
Yes, dinner and a few drinks sounds good
I'm usually so tired and fuzzy headed at the end of the shows
I know I could use some rest time before driving home.
There's a official after the show event happening
pay bar, but free snacks (one can only wonder).

Ed and Liddy have some great animals imo
I've prepaid with them before and waited to avoid hotbox shipping
even with the cold packs I didn't want to chance it
