Hello from me & my Panther!

Hi everyone,

So sorry it has taken me so long to finally post something! Life has been a little busy here and I have been right in the middle of it all.

My name is Jessica, my Husband's name is Jimmy. We keep & breed many reptiles.....geckos (Cresties, Gargs & Leopards), beardies, balls. We have experience with Veileds in the past 9 years, we have raised them & bred them as well.

Recently recieved a juvi Panther (not sure of location) from a friend who breeds them. He had 3 clutches from 3 different pairings and isn't sure which clutch the baby came from, so locale could be a combo of either one of the 3 pairings.

The Veileds were super easy to sex from the moment they hatched, but Panthers are not so easy. I am hoping I have a male, but am now so attached, that it really doesn't matter. I have named the little booger Bagheera after the Black panther in Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book".....not much color other than black, grey & white being shown yet.

Here are a few pics of Bagheera :

Bagheera has almost doubled in size since these pics were taken a little over a week ago. I will update soon. If anyone can hazard a guess as to sex, that would be great! Lots of pattern, but only a super light seafoam green color to the head sheild so far as color goes.

Hello, you and your panther, and welcome!

I don't know if the mealworms in the picture are his/her staple or a treat; many people seem to favor crickets (small or pinheads for a cham that size) or appropriately-sized dubias as the staple.

I'm afraid I can't really hazard a guess as to Bagheera's gender; can almost convince myself that I can see a slight bulge under the tail in the third picture (indicating male), but am not fully convinced.

Handsome little beastie!
