Heated mist humidifier?

Hi! I’m back, so I saw you should only use cool mist humidifiers if you’re using it to raise humidity in the enclosure. I have a vicks heated mist humidifier and I was wondering if the heated mist “no-no” is more for if it’s directly going into the enclosure. I’m only trying to raise it a little and in the general room, also not planning on putting it right next to him. Can I run my heated mist overnight for the higher humidity levels? What is the reason for no heated mist? Thank you in advance! Lloyd is in his pajamas for the night.

As far as I know, as long as it is not near the cage, and there are no additives in the water, it will be fine
I used to don't before I bought a whole house (console) humidifier
