Hey Everyone,

In Toronto we have experienced a heat wave... Our A/C isnt hooked up yet, and I feel like my Skittles might be too hot... His cage is averaging about 90 today. His automatic mister is going as usual and he is eating as normal but he is lower in his cage then I have ever seen him. Not for long, I work at home so I can check on him. But I feel its too hot? He is by unopened window. I dont want the draft.

Tomorrow is supposed to be warm as well. Any ideas on how to cool his enclosure? I just dont want to stress him.

get a fan, lower wattage bulb, raise bulb further away from enclosure, increase misting length. has my little guy outside for nearly 3 hours today. warmest my enclosure got today was 85 dont have ac going on yet either and is currently 25 in my house. i was worried bout the drop in night time temperature so got a fan going

90 is ok. But it is at the top of temps you want. A small fan should make you feel a litte assurance. Watch and make sure he isn't sitting there with his mouth open. That would mean he is overheating. You could get some reuseable ice packs from walmart or walgreens. Toss one in the bottom. Or if really concerned, use the surveillance van a/c unit. Find a metal box, fan, and dry ice. Set up the fan to blow over the dry ice and you have an awesome mini a/c.

I would love to bringvhim outside, but there is too much action.
I covered the window with a shear and that seems to be helping. I will bring the fan down this afternoon when the sun hits the back window.

He isnt gaping.... Ill monitor him closely though...

What's wrong with 90°. I bet your cham is loving those temperatures. If you having enough vegetation and misting going on, your cham should be fine.
