I moved my Ambi. to his adult cage about two weeks ago and he was eating fine, now only one or two silks and may be one or two crickets a day. The basking temp is 80-85 and he is under it plenty but I am wondering if there is a better way to disperse the heat throughout the enclosure better. It is a 10" zoo med dome set on top of the cage with a 60 watt blue heat bulb. ANY SUGGESTIONS????

How old is your cham? Instead of the blue light use a regular house hold bulb.....the wattage would depend on his age.

Increase the room temperature a tad if you are concerned about the temp away from the basking area.

You could also enclose the cage more (cover the screen on back and 1 or 2 sides with something more solid, such as a shower curtain or a bath towel) to retain more heat (release heat more slowly through remaining open areas)

85F is okay, but you could increase the wattage of the bulb if you wanted it a bit higher.
