Wow! Watching a Cham hunt and eat is amazing. So far he's had around 8 small crickets, stopped off for a drink and was good one. Phew! Was worried about him eating and drinking.
Looks like he's still looking for food :D

:) George has had at least 11 small crickets today. Tried with cup but he was kind of freaked by it, so let him hunt them. Was amazing to watch.
Late afternoon, a housefly appeared in his enclosure, he nailed it after some time. Just as he got within range, in his own time, lol, it flew away. But he got it in end. 10 out of 10 for perseverance.
He's getting ready to go to sleep now. ;)
He's also willingly let me handle him twice, just for a few minutes each time. He would of let me longer, but I don't wish to stress him or push my luck on first day.
Day one done :D to be honest, I was more nervous about the feeders than George, lol.
Kath.

Here in the states we can actually get house flies on line- I don't know about in the UK- Blue bottle's are my favorite - the larva keep longer in the fridge- and they are pretty easy to dust - and where I get them sells "fly food" I was told by a member that i should be gutloading before feeding them- which I'm sure is true I've been trying new things as far as that goes- I get them from a place that sells supplies for keeping Mantis -

Yep, if you really want to have some fun, let a few dozen flies loose in his cage :)

Most chams go nuts for flies.
