He won't move ?

I've had Red, my panther, for about 20 days now and i noticed about a week ago he wasn't basking very much. So i had a look on this forum and realised it was because his basking spot was not horizontal i had a stick leading to it ( he still basked but not for very long). I quickly installed a horizontal one and low and behold he started basking a lot. But now he wont do much else. The cage is the right temperature (general temp around 70- 75 and basking spot 80-85) but he sits on his basking spot and he wont hunt his food or anything. He is still drinking and he looks healthy, he got a once over from the vet not that long ago saying he was healthy. I think its just a bit lazy What should i do ? Is this normal for a four month old panther ?

Chameleons are not the most energetic. Unless you put a female infront of a male or some really yummy bugs! I wouldnt worry about your guy hanging out in the same spot. just make sure he is eating and at the proper temp and humidity!

Air temp seems alittle low if that is a daily high. He might just like the temp at the basking spot.

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Male Panther Cham, around 4 months ive had him since October 3rd
Handling - short periods daily
Feeding -Mainly crickets gut loaded with fresh veggies and retailed cricket gut load with added calcium.He also has calci worms and wax worms, he did have hoppers but would take to them well. I feed him as much as he will eat every day.
Supplements - I dust with zoomed repti Calcium without d3 every feeding, zoomed repti Calcium with d3 every second Thursday and a multivitamin every other Thursday. ( i alternate between Exoterra multi vitamin powder supplement,Nutrobal multivitamin and calcium balancer and komodo chameleon specific vitamin dusting powder)
Watering - i mist three times a day for 30 seconds, i have a habba mister set to go of for 30 econds every three hours. i see him drink often and cage dries between mistings
Fecal Description - Good constancy and very regular. Pure white urate. He has not been tested for anything yet but will be tested next week.
History - Nope seems like a healthy guy

Cage Type - ReptiBreeze mesh cage in small (we have his upgrade ready for as soon as he big enough)
Lighting - basking bulb 70 watt, arcadia D3 day bulb
Temperature - Cage floor - 69 General temp - 69 -70 basking spot 80-85 60 Digital thermometer by zoo med to measure
Humidity - 80-90 % using the reptifogger? measured by digital humidity gauge by zoomed
Plants -Yes? one small pathos
Placement -My Room, very low traffic warm not drafts. Top of cage is 5 foot off the floor.
Location -Scotland

Sorry forgot to add his cage generally sits at 73 degrees but as it is winter here it does range. I have to use a ceramic heat emitter at night to keep the temp up.

If he were an adult and was not hunting or being lazy, I would say it would be ok. That is odd for a 4 month old to reject food. One thing I would probably change is your humidity. Is it constantly that high? I would shoot more for 50-60% and then spikes with misting and such. I don't think it is good to have the humidity that high all the time. I would quit running the fogger and see where the level goes. Also, I would raise his basking temp around 90 or even higher. Maybe he is not getting warm enough with it being 80 degrees or so and that is why he is staying under the light so long.

Thanks for your help guys, I've turned the humidifier down and ill look into getting a bulb to raise the temperature at his basking spot.
