Ok so i got him to the mirror to see how will he show his colors !
He hit the mirror with his had , and grabbed me like crazy!
After that he turned really dark-brownish and he started to hump my hand!
His hemi penis was out and he forced my finger to hump it !
He was very angry when i wanted to put him back in his cage and he started to hiss at me !
Any ideas why this happened ? Did anyone experienced something like this ?

i do this like once 1-2 months to see how he reacts and to see his colors .
and i let him see his reflection like 2-5 sec .

I started wearing gloves when I went near him because I couldn't get my hand near his cage without him trying to go for it (which we did not allow him to do). Male veiled chameleons are not very selective, and, if they have bonded with you in any way they seem to assume that should include certain "benefits". Disgusting.

Right away we stuffed a green garden glove and gave it to him. Then we gave him a beanie baby. And finally we got him a real female veiled chameleon.

And that is how we ended up breeding chameleons. It all started with my left hand.
