I’ve seen multiple people saying Hass or Mexican avocados are safe for chameleons (veileds specifically) and that the Guatemalan avocados are poisonous. Those were 5 years ago so I was wondering if the Mexican variant are still considered non toxic or safe for chameleons
I believe all avocados contain persin which is seriously toxic to I think birds. However, i have no idea how it affects chameleons. They do make good cham trees, but may be risky with a veiled.
