Handling

Pascal my young veiled out twice a day for about 30 minutes or so. He was handraised and very tame. Rex my Spiny is handled A LOT, he is a rescue so I have him out a lot to feed him and treat him, he is like a puppy dog though, very tame and sweet :) I usually bring him out and lay in bed with him. Pascal no lol he would hate us if we pushed it

ive read alot and mist of the say not to mess with them alot i was getting all mine out for about 20 mins a day but didnt want to stress them out so i was unsure as what to do. thanks for the reply

It'll come down to the temperament of your chameleon. If you have one that is obviously horrified by the very sight of you, leave them alone. But if you have one that reaches out to climb on you, then it's their choice and that is ok. The time will depend on how long they are OK to be out and about, and as soon as they seem restless or uncomfortable they should be put back.

I have had chameleons I rarely ever messed with and others that were out daily for hours, it just depended on their temperament.
