Handling Veiled Chameleon

I've had my male veiled chameleon Doug for about a month and a half now. I think hes about 3 months old. I've been trying to work with him so i can handle him but its not working very well. I've handled him before when I first got him and kept him in a smaller glass inclosure, but since i moved him into a 2x2x4 screened cage I cant get him to come on my hand. He doesn't get aggrivated or puff up, but he will just sit there. I've tryed putting my hand under him but he kind of moves his head in small jerks like hes threating to bite but thats it. Im trying not to push my luck and make him upset. Any techniques I can try? I know alot of people don't handle they're veileds but it would be nice to try.

I have a yr old female veiled and she has a real attitude. when i pick her up she puffs up gaps her mouth and leans against my hand, kinda like leave me alone or ill bite you. i just continue putting my hand under her and she will slowly but unhappily climb on my hand but continues threatening to bite me. once she's out of the cage and realizes I'm not scared of her she calms down sits with me until i get to close to a plant, then she's gone.
